Cemetery Services
Burkhart Cemetery Inc. is a 501(c)(13) nonprofit, non‑endowed cemetery serving families in Racine, Missouri and the surrounding communities. We are committed to responsible stewardship, transparent communication, and dignified care of the cemetery grounds.
As a non‑endowed cemetery, Burkhart Cemetery does not provide perpetual care. Plot purchases and service fees do not include or guarantee maintenance services. Plot fees support the general operation and responsible stewardship of the cemetery.
Burial Plot Purchases
Burkhart Cemetery offers burial plots for individuals and families. All plot purchases are processed securely through our Zeffy shop.

Grave‑Locating Service
To ensure accurate placement of markers and proper identification of burial plots, Burkhart Cemetery offers a grave‑locating service.
This fee covers the contracted locating service used to identify and confirm the correct burial plot for interment or marker placement.
This service helps prevent incorrect marker placement and ensures accurate recordkeeping.
This service is required for all new marker placements to ensure accuracy.
Payment Options This service can be paid securely through Zeffy. Check payments are available upon request at finance@burkhartcemetery.org.
Donations
As a 501(c)(13) nonprofit cemetery, Burkhart Cemetery relies on community support to continue responsible stewardship of the grounds.
Donation Notices
Donations are tax‑deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Donations support general cemetery operations and stewardship.
No goods or services were provided in exchange for your donation.
